Overall the show was great, the drums were
very heavy! Roger gave it all again. Brian had some problems with his
guitars I thought but did his very best of course. Amazing how some songs
still touch him so much. Though I stood right at the endcorner of the
catwalk the big screens were great. The images of the moving cams were
awesome and the lightshow really paid off on those screens. One of the
cameras turned and twisted beautifully and seemed to swing all around
those who were on the catwalk showing the audience in all it's glory. The
show started at 20.30 and finished at 23.00 hrs. Oh, and it was sooo hot
in there... right at the front I saw 4 persons lifted over the fence and
guided away because they would collapse. That makes one feel it's quite a
shame one cannot take a bottle of water into the venue. We entered the
stadium at 17.30 so we were in there for nearly six hours and not everyone
is able or willing to leave their spot and buy something to drink. It was
a great show, of course. If I'm not going to see them in e.g. the USA...
this could have been my last Queen (+PR) show... Therefore I took less
pics and watched the guys and enjoyed the show as much as I could. Really
paying attention to the way they played, especially Brian and Roger. God,
do they ROCK ! A sincere thank you to Brian, Roger, Paul, Spike, Danny and
Jamie for taking this show on the road and to their fans. For the older
fans like me it's an opportunity to see them live again, but for the
younger fans it must be an ultimate dream come true to hear those songs
played live perhaps for the first time.
