My first concert of this tour.
While waiting outside I saw a lot of familiar faces and did chat with
some of them.
It was a great show though I thought the sound wasn't all good. Guitar and
drums were excellent
but Paul's voice sometimes was pushed to the background. Purely a
technical matter, his voice and singing was allright.
It was a first for Time To Shine to be played. Paul started the first
chorus too soon but all in all a great live track.
I think they should get rid of I Want To Break Free and perhaps Crazy
Little Thing Called Love and include some other
Queen tracks, such as Now I'm Here e.g. I Want To Break Free just isn't
Paul's song.
Cosmos Rockin' is fun! Take note of the light show during this track! A
very special effect when the
lights are just hanging above their heads.
Again, a great show and you can really feel there's a solid band playing.
After the show we spoke with Peter Freestone who happened to be in Antwerp
for a few days.
